Human TIGIT (T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains) is also known as VSIG9 and VSTM3. The recombinant TIGIT dimer protein (CSP-24028-01) is a cis-homodimer (cis-dimer) and contains a TIGIT extracellular domain (UniProt# Q495A1, amino acids Met22-Phe141) fused with a proprietary dimer motif followed by a His-tag at the C-terminus. This protein is expressed in HEK293T cells. The TIGIT-His dimer protein is bioactive and can bind to Nectin-4 and CD155. It also binds to TIGIT-specific antibodies. This TIGIT dimer can be used as an antigen for in vitro assays and antibody screening, targeting more conformational epitopes.

Protein Name: TIGIT

UniProt #: Q495A1

Predicted Molecular Weight: 42 kDa

SDS PAGE Molecular Weight: The migration range of the dimer under non-reducing conditions is 40-70 kDa on SDS PAGE.

Protein Construct: TIGIT protein dimer contains a TIGIT extracellular domain (UniProt# Q495A1) with a His tag at the C-terminus.

Background

Human TIGIT (T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains) is also known as VSIG9 (V-set and immunoglobulin domain-containing protein 9) and VSTM3 (V-set and transmembrane domain-containing protein 3). TIGIT is a type I membrane protein containing an immunoglobulin variable (Ig-V) domain, a transmembrane domain and cytoplasmic domain. TIGIT is an immune receptor present on peripheral memory and regulatory CD4+ T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. TIGIT binds to CD155 (the poliovirus receptor, PVR) with high affinity and binds to CD112 (PVRL2) with lower affinity. Nectin-4 is also a ligand for TIGIT.

Alternate Names: VSIG9, VSTM3
