Human IL10Rα (interleukin 10 receptor subunit alpha) is also known as CD210, IL10R, CD210α, CDW210A, and IL-10R1. IL10Rα protein dimer (CSP-24018) contains 2 IL10Rα extracellular domains (amino acids His22-Asn235, UniProt# Q13651) with a homodimer motif and a His tag at the C-terminus. This protein is expressed in HEK293 cells. The IL10Rα dimer protein is bioactive and can bind to IL10 cytokine with dramatically increased binding potency compared with the IL10Rα monomer. It also binds to IL10Rα-specific antibodies. This IL10Rα dimer can be used as an immunogen for animal immunization (RUO) and as an antigen for in vitro assays and antibody screening targeting more conformational epitopes.
Background
Interleukin-10 receptor alpha (IL10Rα), also known as IL-10 R1, CD210, CD210α, CDW210A, is a subunit of interleukin-10 receptor (IL10R) complex. IL10R belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family. IL10Rα is a type I integral membrane glycoprotein containing extracellular, transmembrane and intracellular domains. The extracellular domain has two immunoglobulin-like (Ig-like) C2-type domains. IL-10 cytokine dimer interacts with two IL10Rα molecules to activate the cascade signaling pathway.
